Lidl Wexford Store Now Open!

NRS is delighted to announce the official opening of the brand-new Lidl store on Rosslare Road in Wexford Town. Located in the Rocksborough area, this modern single-storey discount foodstore spans an impressive 2,209 sq. metres, including both an off-licence and a mezzanine plant deck. The project scope also featured the construction of a new access road from Rosslare Road—an investment unlocking future development opportunities for adjoining lands—alongside a stepped and ramped pedestrian access route for enhanced community connectivity.

Key features of the new development:

• A large shopper car park
• Roof-mounted solar panels for renewable energy generation
• Ample cycle parking and dedicated bicycle storage
• An on-site electricity substation

In keeping with Lidl’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement, the store’s exterior is highlighted by regenerative landscaping featuring native wildflowers, a locally sourced Wexford stone entrance wall, and advanced energy-efficient technologies integrated with a certified Energy Management System.
